Binance launches compliant platform for users in Japan
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance is moving to a new platform for customers in Japan to comply with local regulations. The transition will take place this summer, with no exact date announced. The company is encouraging Japanese users to switch to the new platform, which will comply with Japanese law. Binance's global platform in Japan will stop operating on 30 November. They have also announced the launch of the new Japanese platform from 1 August 2023. Users will have to go through the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. Binance will also discontinue some services for customers in Japan, such as margin trading and Earn products. ➡️Source
