Dogecoin Co-founder Says He Won’t Call Out Crypto Scams Anymore
Dogecoin Co-founder, Billy Markus, also known as “Shibetoshi Nakamoto”, on Twitter stated that the crypto market is doing a terrible job at protecting itself against scammers.
Dogecoin Co-founder Explains Why the Crypto Market is Full of Scams
According to Markus, the reason why scams often emerge in the crypto space is that the community is unable to control the space and clear it from scammers “it does a horrible job of policing itself”. Rather than go at scams and hunt scammers, the crypto space “enables scammers and defends the scammers,” per him.
This is down to the community’s “chronic behavior”, he tweeted, and so the crypto space “gets what it deserves”.
