The bankruptcy of Genesis shows the need for regulators to have teeth.
Barry Silbert's Digital Currency Group (DCG) filed for bankruptcy on Friday. DCG is the parent company of three key players in the crypto space: Genesis, a crypto lender and broker; Grayscale Investments; and CoinDesk. The fall of the once-acclaimed DCG could be the final nail in the coffin of crypto’s credibility.
