MetaMask implements a warning function for a possible scam

The MetaMask team in cooperation with OpenSea and Blockaid has created an experimental feature to prevent users from interacting with confirmed fraudulent projects. The feature checks addresses against OpenSea's lists of known fraudsters and analyses ontology history for forged signatures and unauthorised withdrawals from wallets. A similar solution from Blockaid is also used. If a match is found, users are notified of the potential danger and can avoid losing funds.
