As of now, there has yet to be a response from the project side.
Poly Network is a project that provides a cross-chain solution allowing blockchains to interact and build infrastructure for Web3. One of Poly Network’s primary use cases is as a cross-chain bridge, allowing users to move assets from one blockchain to another through a lock & mint burn mechanism. & mint and atomic swap.
This is one of the oldest projects in the crypto market, going into operation in August 2020 before DeFi summer explodes in mid-2021.
However, Poly Network was attacked on August 10, 2021, causing more than 600 million USD in damage. The hack happened on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon. This is the biggest hack ever in the DeFi market. This amount was later returned from the hacker.
Until now, after being refunded, Poly Network has returned to normal operations and continuously integrated many new blockchains and layer 2 in the market, such as zkSync Era, Aptos, Arbitrum, and Optimism…Up to now, the network has integrated with more than 30 chains.
