“I’ve never seen anything better in my life”: players were delighted with the MultiVersus trailer dedicated to the killer maniac from “Friday the 13th”

Homicidal maniac Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th has made a name for himself outside of gaming, but is now preparing to appear in his second fighting game after Mortal Kombat X - MultiVersus. Publisher: Warner Bros. Games and developers from the Player First Games studio presented a gameplay trailer for the terrifying character.
In MultiVersus, the sinister Friday the 13th star towers over the competition and has a terrifying array of moves. Jason belongs to the Tank class and combines mastery of an ax and machete with the supernatural ability of teleportation.
The maniac will be able to appear right behind opponents and stuff them into a sleeping bag, as well as slam enemies with a bed to send them flying off the map. In addition to the standard one, the trailer also featured an alternate look for the character based on his appearance in the film Jason X (2001).
Viewers were delighted with the character's techniques, references and trailer design. The video is stylized as an advertisement for horror films, but the feeling of fear dissipates when Jason suddenly performs the moonwalk. “Jason’s moonwalk is the best I’ve ever seen in my life,” REDNDEAD shared .
The final version of MultiVersus will launch on May 28 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The game will receive Unreal Engine 5 graphics, new network code (for this reason the fighting game was rebuilt from scratch ), PvE mode “ Rifts ” will be distributed using a shareware model.
