12 years later, bitcoin has a serious flaw... in the icon.
The news is not simple, it is undoubtedly a serious blow to trust in cryptocurrencies in general and grandfather in particular...
Joking aside, the original vector design of the bitcoin icon was drawn on November 12, 2010 by a bitcointalk.org member with the nickname bitboy.
Perhaps the person didn’t have enough experience, or he just drew in a hurry and made a little mistake, but the result was a small orange stripe that goes over the white letter B in the logo. Roughness was also found in one of the bends of the symbol.
The funny thing is that in 12 years this was discovered only now by a random person who was trying to scale the icon for his project. The problem, of course, is ridiculous and insignificant, but they probably won’t fix it anymore - there is too much where a well-established symbol with small irregularities has been used over the years.
And yet there is some kind of "humanity" in this, because there is nothing more humane than small funny mistakes. which have not been noticed all over the world for many years.
