Bankman-Fried refuses to plead guilty in court
On December 13, Bankman-Fried was arrested in the Bahamas. He was later extradited to the United States, where he was released on $250 million bail.
Now he denies his guilt on 8 counts, various publishing houses confirmed and denied some of them, based on their sources. For example, Reuters wrote that the SBF pleaded guilty to charges of defrauding investors and stealing client funds. At the same time, WSJ sources ruled out such a possibility.
The trial date has now been set for October 2, 2023. This time can be used both by the prosecution to collect evidence and by the defendant - he can better prepare for the defense.
