Today the famous BTC symbol turns 13 years old. Its history, like the fate of the cryptocurrency itself, is one of evolution, renewal, collaboration, and sometimes even fierce debate.
First logo
The earliest version of the logo was designed by Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009. It featured the letters "BC" inscribed on a gold coin.
