Cooler Master introduced a 34-inch curved monitor GM34-CWQ2 with a frequency of up to 180 Hz
Cooler Master has introduced a widescreen 34-inch curved gaming monitor GM34-CWQ2. It is equipped with a VA matrix with a radius of curvature of 1500R, a resolution of 3440 × 1440 and a refresh rate of 180 Hz. The monitor is an updated version of the GM34-CW model, presented by the manufacturer in mid-2020, and then received a GM34-CWQ version with ARGB backlighting.
The Cooler Master GM34-CWQ2 display has a pixel response time of 2 ms GtG (0.5 ms MPRT). The static contrast ratio of the new product is 4000:1. The screen has a brightness of 320 cd/m2 , 8-bit+FRC color depth and 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor's standard refresh rate is 165 Hz. However, in overdrive mode it increases to 180 Hz.
The monitor supports dynamic VRR refresh rate when using compatible NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, and also meets the specifications of AMD FreeSync Premium video synchronization technology.
The Cooler Master GM34-CWQ2 is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4 connector and two HDMI 2.0 connectors. In addition, the monitor received one USB Type-C port with support for 65 W charging and two USB Type-A. The monitor stand allows you to adjust the display height and rotation. The monitor also has two speakers with a power of 5 W each and supports picture-in-picture mode.
Cooler Master has priced the GM34-CWQ2 monitor at $419. The new product will go on sale in the first quarter of next year.
