Lost Ark 2022 Roadmap Confirms 2 New Classes and More
Lost Ark publishes a roadmap revealing all the new classes, raids, and other content set to arrive before the year is over.
Lost Ark has recently released its roadmap for the remainder of 2022, which highlights many of the most significant additions coming to the game before the year comes to a close. Some of the key features coming to Lost Ark in the coming months include two new classes, a new legion raid, a new guardian raid, various holiday events, and a new accessory type.
Lost Ark has had a strong first year after Amazon Games brought the Korean MMORPG to Western audiences earlier in February. Almost immediately upon release, Lost Ark became one of the most played games on Steam, beating the top records of many heavy-hitting titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Apex Legends. The free-to-play MMORPG features addicting Diablo-style action-RPG combat and progression combined with the vast world and side activities expected of a proper MMORPG. Since its launch, Lost Ark has released numerous major updates that add new classes, raids, and other content that keeps its players busy with plenty of new things to do.
Thanks to the new roadmap, players have an idea of what to expect for the rest of 2022 in Lost Ark. One of the most intriguing additions arriving to the game are two new advanced classes for players to utilize, the Assassin's Reaper advanced class and the Summoner advanced class for Lost Ark's Mages. The Reaper is set to arrive in November and is a stealth-focused class that uses lightning-quick strikes, invisibility, and clones to deceive and decimate opponents. The Summoner, arriving in December, calls upon elemental spirits that each possess elemental-based skills to help the Summoner adapt to various situations.
Additionally, December will see the introduction of the Brelshaza Legion Raid, an 8-player Legion Raid that features six gates and encounters as players contend with Brelshaza, Commander of the Phantom Legion. A new guardian raid against Caliligos, a ruthless winged monstrosity with mastery of lightning-based attacks. Other key changes include the addition of interior decorations for Lost Ark's strongholds, a new Trophy System complete with a Trophy Room, gifting, and the ability to place mounts and pets in the stronghold, along with various new minigames and other improvements. The Reaper and Summoner classes have existed in the Korean edition of Lost Ark for some time now, so players can take a look at those to get an idea of what to expect when they are implemented in the Western version of the game. Players can also expect more festive seasonal events like the recent Arktoberfest to coincide with the holiday season. After a very strong year, Lost Ark doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon when it comes to bringing in more content.
