NEAR may offer up to 20% yield on staking its stablecoin
NEAR Protocol, a project by the team developers that worked for Google, Meta, and Microsoft, may soon announce its new native algorithmic stablecoin. It will be known as $USN.
If we are to believe this rumour, we theoretically could be able to earn up to 20 percent yearly by staking it. Which is pretty darn good if you ask me.
As insider has pointed out, NEAR Protocol will announce the new stablecoin on April 20th. It is unclear when it will be available to buy, though.
The future is looking bright for NEAR. And not only because the project’s rumoured stablecoin. The price of the native token of the network that goes by the same name has increased dramatically. In the last 24 hours, it has risen by 22%. This is because the biggest exchanges has already listed NEAR token. Coinbase is expected to do so soon.
So, how's that looking for you? Will you invest in this new stablecoin and stake it for profit? Or you don't trust it just yet? Let me know in the comments.
