The fact that this is a Ubisoft game is hard to believe: gamers were impressed with a demonstration of action gameplay in the Star Wars Outlaws open world

Star Wars Outlaws will take place between the fifth (“The Empire Strikes Back”) and sixth (“Return of the Jedi”) episodes of the saga and players will get the role “cunning rascal” Kay Vess, reminiscent of Han Solo. In 10 minutes of the new show, Kay “topped up” the cover at the crime syndicate building, got into a shootout, escaped on a speeder, ended up on the wanted list, flew her ship into space, and escaped her pursuers in hyperspace.
The action in Star Wars Outlaws is most reminiscent of Uncharted in its cinematic quality: optional (but useful) stealth with stealth finishers, cover shootouts, a grappling hook, fast-paced car chases. In combat, Kei relies on a blaster with multiple firing modes, but Nyx’s pet can give her a more serious (but disposable) weapon. Enemies that spotted the heroine before opening fire can be distracted.
Star Wars Outlaws will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series in 2024.
