Kazakhstan Earned $1.5 Million From The Cryptocurrency Mining Industry In Q1
Kazakhstan's government stated this week that the crypto mining business brought in 652 million tenge (almost $1.5 million) in the first three months of the year. The monies were raised by levying a premium on the power consumed by legally functioning mining farms in the country. Entities who operate mining facilities are required to pay it by the 20th of the month after the end of the quarter.
